The “S.M.I.L.E.” Course
The Microlearning Pills and Video Tutorials developed for the SMILE project support Higher Education Institutions, lecturers, guidance practitioners, placement experts, VET professionals in understanding and applying the SMILE model: an AI-based approach designed to analyse and diagnose students’ training needs in a personalised, proactive and predictive way, in line with the skills required by SMEs.
For this reason, we are providing you with access to a rich ecosystem of Open Educational Resources (OERs) – always available, easy to use and designed to keep SMILE knowledge alive over time – delivered in two innovative formats:
- Microlearning pills: short, focused and immediately accessible learning contents, designed to provide clear, selective and just-in-time knowledge on the key elements of the SMILE model. Through multimedia and interactive formats, they support learners in understanding emerging skills needs, exploring competence-based approaches and strengthening their ability to connect learning outcomes with the evolving demands of SMEs.
- Video tutorials: practical and user-friendly learning resources developed to explain the logic, functionalities, potential and technical features of the SMILE model. Created with engaging visual and motion graphic techniques, the tutorials make complex topics easier to understand, including the use of AI-based tools, digital processes and operational practices applied to guidance and placement.
